I love a bonfire at the beach with family and friends. I created this illustration to capture the magic of sunset at the beach standing next to a blazing fire. Since we can't have a bonfire every night, this reminds me of the good times we've had roasting hot dogs and marshmallows under the stars at the beach. Hang this surfboard to remember your own bonfire memories.
I cut each of my wooden surfboards from pine and then sand the rounded edges smooth. The artwork is applied, then sealed with a thick coat of high gloss varnish that makes them look like real, classic old-school surfboards.
