Hung as either a single surfboard or a collection of several, my longboard artwork is the perfect wall décor accessory for a beach-inspired space. I love snorkeling in Hawaii and especially enjoy encountering honu, Hawaiin Green Sea Turtles. I am always drawing them and felt inspired to put this one on a surfboard!
I cut each wooden surfboards from pine and then sand the rounded edges smooth. The artwork is applied, then sealed with a thick coat of high gloss varnish that makes them look like real, classic old-school surfboards.
